From mjcn3li at gmail.com Mon May 4 19:39:01 2015 From: mjcn3li at gmail.com (Michael Coslo) Date: Mon, 4 May 2015 19:39:01 -0400 Subject: [PaQSO] Bonus station time and sponsor needed Message-ID: Good day all, It?s time to start soliciting for the bonus station for the 2015 - and possibly 2016 PAQSO Party. What we look for in a bonus station is clubs or groups of people to put on an effort, either multiple station, or old school single station. You?ll want a good signal, SSB and CW, and digital modes would be good too. So people who are interested should get hold of me, and we?ll start the vetting process. Even if you?ve sent me a notice of intent before, do it again - it?s been a couple years, and things change. Other note: The Central Time Zone plaque is up for a sponsor this coming year. I?ll do a first come first served on that one for anyone wishing to sponsor it. In addition, if there are any classes that someone might want to nominate for a plaque, let me know. - 73 Mike N3LI - From tvguy07 at gmail.com Mon May 4 20:50:19 2015 From: tvguy07 at gmail.com (John Myers) Date: Mon, 4 May 2015 20:50:19 -0400 Subject: [PaQSO] KD8MQ PQP website has been updated Message-ID: Hi everyone, Several weeks ago I posted that I had all the 2014 per-county data keyed in to a spreadsheet. Tonight, I uploaded the last of the pages reflecting that data to my website. You can find it at kd8mq.net/pqp. a couple things to note here. First, and foremost, This is NOT an official Nittany ARC undertaking. I have nothing but the deepest respect for Mike, and all the other NARC members, and the work they do to put on PA QSO Party. BUT, please don't complain to Mike if you see an error in one of my pages. drop me an e-mail. secondly, I've always considered all of you as my best proofreaders. as hard as I try, a mistake sometimes sneaks into the code. If you notice anything amiss, please tell me about it. If you've not been on my pages before, they are a per-county breakdown of the scores, and activity going back 28 years. It's a great tool should you be planning a mobile, or rover route, or just a fun way to kill time on a summer night. Anyway, enjoy! I hope everyone has a great summer. BTW, if you get to Dayton, and want to say hi, I'll be manning the Ohio section booth at the ARRL Expo from 4 - 5 PM Saturday for sure. I may also be hanging out there at other times. 73, John, KD8MQ kd8mq.net/pqp From tvguy07 at gmail.com Sat May 16 21:29:19 2015 From: tvguy07 at gmail.com (John Myers) Date: Sat, 16 May 2015 21:29:19 -0400 Subject: [PaQSO] W8LQ SK Message-ID: Hi everyone, I just received the following as a reply to my last posting to the list. I though this should be passed along. John, KD8MQ ---------- Hello, My name is Sue Bulla. I am Chuck Dunlap's (W8LQ) daughter.
