try this:
 
You will more than likely not need the dcom98 utility for Windows 98, but it is here 'just in case'.  Some of the earlier releases of W98 did not include this utility. This DCOM utility MUSTbe run PRIOR to running the Logging Program Setup. If you install the Logging Program first and you get a run time error when it first starts up, use the control panel "Add/Remove Programs" to remove the Logging program.  Then run dcom98 and reinstall the logging program.
 But if you can find the data file in the installed folder you can probably read and import into Excel to upload.
