Elaine and myself had a great time operating with our small station. Even with taking quite a bit of time off the seat, we worked all counties and broke the 200 K mark. Contact total was a bit over 1,000.
Our 90 foot loaded dipole and two element quad worked well running about 500 watts. Voice keyer was an issue with the Omni 7.
With so many voice settings in the menu, it's hard to match both the mic, and the mfj voice keyer. Need to spend time listening with another radio, into a dummy load.

BTW. This is not a big item, but not one time did we receive a sexes remark while Elaine was operating. That made the contest even more special.
