Yes, the multiplicity of programs - even to include hand written ones,
and even to include every version of a given logging program, are the
reality of what we get.
Some folk use always updated versions of N1MM, and some are using old
DOS programs.
-side note - there are some programs in use that print out a summary
sheet that tell the user to send them to one of my predecessors, Doug,
W3HDH, in Petersburg PA. Its been 15 years since he was the chairman.
Regardless, log 'em and leave 'em is a mixed bag regarding duplicates.
My personal and selfish preference is for logs that are correct, which
means no dupes. Dupes, and especially lots of them, just make it take
longer to process a log.
