[PaQSO] N1MM Question

My apologies for an N1MM program question, and a last minute one at that,
but what is accepted practice these days for multi-multi and serial
numbers?  I was going to do serial number ranges for the two operating
positions, however I can't seem to figure out how to start one operating
position at a certain number without it making the other position start at
that higher number.

I see that N1MM does avoid serial number conflicts and each position
reserves the next serial number, so maybe I don't need to reserve ranges,
however I've thought jumping serial numbers confuses people.
