[PaQSO] SPOTTING

Hi Ron,

Time for me to chime in here, folks.

First and foremost, we do not now, nor have we ever had an assisted class. We make no distinction between someone using spots, or not using spots.

Second is that people have used the list as a spotting medium for years. People have announced their locations, frequencies, and times, mobiles have monitored the wish lists and headed out to rare counties, or changed their routes. All of this during the party.

Anyone doubting the veracity of my statement is welcome to go to the list archives, download them and check for themselves.

Third is that The W3TDF effort this year doesn’t do this for any personal gain. They win no counties, get no plaques, and by being the bonus station, ensure that QCWA chapter 17 will not win anything.

I am most sincerely sorry that you choose the moniker of “so called party”. That hurts.

We and especially myself strive to make this party fun for everyone. We’re called the "Friendly Party", and I take it very seriously. It pains me to have my veracity and ethics challenged for things that we have always allowed.

most very sincerely, Michael J. Coslo
