PAQSO Friends:
I am sharing the following letter to bring to your attention about a case underway just to my south, and comes from Mike Malsbary / K3PDR.
Feel free to forward to any and all your EPA colleagues not subscribed to the listserver.
(There are 4 parts because it's too long to upload to the forum all at once.)
I apologize if some formatting in Part 4 is still sloppy after converting ARRL's Volunteer Counsel, K3RF / Bob Famiglio's .pdf letter to plain text to paste here, attached at the end. (I hope it comes through.)
Bob is the lead attorney in this battle, and is the DLARC's guest speaker on June 5th.

The Delaware Lehigh Amateur Radio Club might have already received this letter from Bob Famiglio K3RF, ARRL Legal Counsel for the region. Officials of my township Tredyffryn and adjoining Schuylkill Township to the west (Phoenixville) seem to be brewing a ham radio witch hunt, according to Bob’s letter. The letter is sufficient alarm to at least support our fraternity by attending the Tredyffryn zoning hearing on Wednesday April 30- 7:00 PM. Other zone meetings will likely follow. I intend to be there as mouse in the corner and will report the highlights of the meeting. The vilification of Ham Radio in general seems to have become a part of opponent strategy in a zoning variance application for an antenna tower installation. Bob’s letter lists the details. I am simply passing this on as an FYI as well as invitation to all Hams to “pack this meeting” in support of Amateur Radio. A negative outcome of the variance application could likely become an unpleasant precedent for hams in the entire five state region, whatever type of antenna one wishes to use. Documents prepared by the ARRL will be distributed at this meeting as a part of Bob’s defense strategy.
