[PaQSO] why more dx interest than west coast?

The number of west coast stations does seem to have dropped. I'd have to do some log analysis in order to confirm but I don't think I'll get to it any time soon. I did specifically call CQ and tuning the band on 20 at various times with the beam pointed W and SW but did not reap many Q's let alone mults.
