[PaQSO] Trouble

Due to having far to many projects to do this fall, we decided to stay home and operate with my lady friends call K3VQR.
Without pushing we had about 275 Q's by dinner time. We went upstairs for some grub, and when getting ready to operate once more, the PC looked very weird. 
Without a boring story, the laptop hard drive went dead. I mean Dead.
Elaine was very saddened, since this is the only contest she partakes in all year. 
For myself, since I operate many contests that I don't submit a log, it was just another setback.
Sunday I got  a call from a friend who needed Pike County. I took a dipole and a radio to a park, about 45 minutes from my QTH. I worked 175 stations very quickly, and was happy to hear, "Thanks for Pike". 
Hopefully we will have more time to do some roving next year
