[PaQSO] W3WPA Report

I made it to Blair County to start the contest, then to Cambria a little
later than planned on Saturday. The new 40 Meter G5RV Jr., which I had not
tested, proved to be a challenge for my auto-tuner to tune. As it became
late afternoon on Saturday, I called it a day.

On Sunday I made it to Armstrong County, but the chosen location, Crooked
Creek Lake Park, is an Army Corps of Engineers facility, and most of the
gates to the park areas were locked due to the government shutdown. I
managed to find an open gate to an Environmental Learning area, where I set
up and worked for about an hour.

Thanks to those who helped me identify my signal/tuner problems. Sorry I
couldn't keep up with the schedule I posted before the contest. I have now
been a rover twice, and I learn something new each time.

73,

Pete W3WC
