I forgot to add that there is about a 50 percent log submission rate these days. In many cases, the Op who would have won a county just didn't submit a log.

So encourage people to send in their logs.

Regardless, I am instituting some log submission changes for next year that should make it a lot easier.

This schedule is pretty tentative, but as of now I
will make my pretty much usual route thru Southern
PA.  The van is set and if all is well on Friday Morn
I will hit the road.

JUN, PER or SNY, ADA, FRA, FUL, BED, FAY, SOM, maybe
HUN if time permits.  Will stay in FRA on Sat nite
and operate from the motel, including 160M from both
ADA and FRA.

This year the BATTS WILL BE CHARGED!!!!!!

Kindly give all game wardens the weekend off, and please
make sure the sun shines.

I'm pretty sure that Keith, WA3HAE will be on from Allegheny. If I can swing
it timewise, I will try to activate Butler and Lawrence.

Home stations, please look for us mobiles! Don't just sit there calling CQ.
It gets lonely driving all these miles and not having pileups (of the radio
kind). Also, try 80m during the day. It's a great way to pick up counties
when you can't hear them on the higher bands.

I read the statement about mobile operation from more than one county.

After reading this several times I am still not sure what and how to
submit logs and summaries when operating mobile.

If  all goes as planned, I hope to operate in more than one county.

This will be my first PA QSO party and I have not operated mobile HF
since 1973. ( That I can remember anyway),

14.c. Mobile stations must submit a summary for each county operated
from, and an aggregate summary for the
party.
