[PaQSO] WW8OH - Early Summary

Our two station, 4 man group in central Ohio managed c. 470 QSOs and all 67 counties! So our first-ever entry in the PAQP was a success.  Thanks to all, especially  our intrepid /m and /r stations  who brought  at least 8 new counties our way.

*CW Station:  100w, 160M horizontal loop at 70 ft plus a memory keyer Main bands were: 40-80 plus a little action on 160 and 20! Missed CLEARFIELD-CLINTON-FOREST-INDIANA-JUNIATA-MIFFLIN-NORTHUMBERLAND-SULLIVAN-WAYNE, but heard Miff a couple of times as the calling station. The mobiles and rovers we heard had good signals!  

*SSB station:  100w to Fritzel antenna at 30 ft on 40-80-20M with a handful of 160 contacts. Came home five counties shy of a load.

Two ops per station managed to stay on the air for all but about 4 hours of the contest! Now its time to get the hiccups out of the logs, merge them and send them in.

Any comments RE: how our CW and SSB station's signal sounded around PA?
