Thanks Mark.
Some additional N1MM Logger information....
When a callsign is entered and the cursor leaves the callsign box (ESM mode
or SpaceBar), N1MM Logger software first checks your log for an exchanged
from a previously logged QSO. If more than one exists, it uses the last QSO.
If nothing is found, the software will check the call history if enabled
(Config, Call History Lookup checked).
If you add to the call history file, add the latest information at the end
of the file. Callsigns can be repeated in the file, the last information
read will be stored in the database.
Mark's file uses the call history User field to display the year of the data
and the path of mobile/rover stations. The Entry window height needs to be
tall enough to see the line. When the window is not tall enough, the feature
is disabled. Call history does not need to be enabled for the User Text to
be displayed. You can eliminate the importing of the year data by changing
the first line from:
!!Order!!, Call, Exch1, UserText
To:
!!Order!!, Call, Exch1
AA3B's rover data will still be imported if you make this change.
You do NOT need to import the call history information every time you start
the program. The data is stored in the database. If you find that your data
is being overwritten at program start time, check the Contest Setup,
Associated Files tab for an out of date filename.
If you want to automatically spot your S&P QSO's with a customized
automatically generated exchange string:
- Click Config, Spot All S&P QSO's
- Right click in the Telnet window, Specify Comment for all Spots. If a
station was logged, the window will be populated with your log data so it
will be easy to see what database field you want to include in the spot.
The selections are not sticky for obvious reasons.

Subject: [PaQSO] N1MM Call History File
Fellow PAQP'ers,
Using the latest plans list and call history information donated by some
fellow Frankford Radio Club members I have put together a call history list
for N1MM. What this will do is automatically fill in the county/section
field when you enter the callsign and SPACE to the received serial number
field. Some of this information goes back to 2006 and you may find people
are in a different county or section than what the history is telling you.
Log what you hear!
For in-state mobiles and rovers enter CALL/<county abbrv>. The county will
be filled in when you hit SPACE. If you're not sure what you heard for
county, just enter the call sign and a list of known operating locations
will be shown at the bottom of N1MM's entry window. For fixed and portable
stations you will see the year of last info. A reminder that W3EC is on the
FUL/FRA county line is also shown but neither county is entered
automatically. Anything with 2012 comes from AA3B's plans list as of
Thursday night before the contest. If there are changes in Friday's list I
will see if I can do an update.
If the call history list does not come through as an attachment, email me
directly at callsign at arrl.net and I'll send you a ZIP of the file.
To load the file into N1MM: * Extract the call history from the ZIP file
to a known place on your computer.
* In N1MM go to File | Import | Import Call History...
* Navigate to where you extracted file and select
PaQP2012CallHistory.txt.
* Hit OK and you're ready to go.
* Everytime you restart the program you will need to import this
data. Sfff Stay safe and have fun this weekend!
Take care,
Mark
