Thanks guys for all the ideas. The loggers are great tool to take advantage of our friends years of experience.
I'm pretty sure next year I will head west and hit a tough county.
I do want to apply added time to twenty meters in the future.  
I have used the TS2000 for the last time in the contest this year. So sad to have so many features in a radio (voice and CW auto keyer), but yet have a receiver that absolutely stinks. 
Next year I'll bring my home station Omni 7, to give my ears a break.  It will not bounce off the table from overload like the 2K
