Mark,
Yes, this is correct. The ADIF CNTY field should be populated with the full
county name. Abbreviations determined by the contest sponsor belong in an
Application-Defined field.

N1MM will put the county exchange in a contest exchange field instead of the
ADIF standard county field.
I've done some work on a translating program to create a proper ADIF county
field similar to my old KB3JWE ADIF conversion but its nowhere near ready
for prime time.
