Subject: [PaQSO] Preparations for the 2012 party
I'm putting together the rules for the 2012 party now, and will post them
soon. There are no particular changes to the party except to note that we
will not be using the New Ontario sections as outlined by the RAC. We will
be using the same ones we have been using.
In other news, I'm going through the Sponsors list and getting things in
order. Some of the sponsors will be hearing form me to confirm their
participation.
There are a couple I'm trying to get hold of with out luck.
Mercer County ARC - email address fails.
Penn Wireless League - Cannot find despite Googleing and name tweaks.
Anyone know a good address or if Penn Wireless League is still around?
Two additional plaques will be available:
Mobile Multi-Op and Portable Multi-Op
These are to correct some issues regarding the advantages of multiple
operators in a mobile operation.
The other is that originally the portable station was for single ops only,
it was then modified to allow multi-op, but no award eligibility. Now it is
a regular class.
The definitions of both classes will be added to the rules.
If I get multiple people or groups asking to sponsor I will randomly choose
from them.
