This guy has a petition asking the FCC to take a closer look at HOA restrictions:

I’m not sure the FCC listens much to this kind of thing.  But it’s not going to hurt at all.  And we may be pleasantly surprised…  The HOAs have no incentive to work with hams.  Be nice if we had a tiny bit of help…
