If Ray says it, it has to so!

Over the years I've heard a lot of really good operators in contests, or running DX pileups. They get a rhythm in their CW or an inflection in their voice so that when they give their call, you KNOW it means QRZ. They ID after every contact and still hit a rate of 2 to 3 QSOs per minute. That is good operating.

I totally agree with Goody. Don't know what got this thing started, but,
'm putting in my 2 cents . . . .
Anyone who has taken a minute or two of their contest time listening to
e will surely confirm this. I traditionally make close to 1000 Q's in the
AQP, of which I spend about 95% of that time 'running'. Gauranteed, that if I
ake 110 Q's in any given hour you will hear my ID at least 100 times.
nd, if I am doing S&P you can bet the farm that I ID every Q, and then
ome.
f I can make the kinds of scores that I do, then everyone else can - by staying
well within the rules. Nuff said !
