Hi Bill,
You really think I may be the only one on in CHE?
Went out today and tested the whole setup and it's working fine so it looks like I am QRV - barring any last minute snags.
I am a little conflicted about how many counties and how much time to spend in each one.
The route basically consists of CHE, DCO, PHI, MGY, BUX, LEH, NHA (maybe), and BER.
The first three - CHE, DCO, and PHI are the rarest and - especially CHE - and are my main focus the first day. I may even make two appearances in each one to cover each county under differing band conditions.
If the pileups are good in CHE (they should be given how that it seems it will be rare) - heck, I may stay there a long time - not to mention that the bands are really good right now, and I will work them as high and low as there are contacts to work.
Starting at around 8 AM this morning, everything was open to somewhere in North America or DX (or both) all the way from 80 meters up to 10 meters - heard very short skip on 80 as late as 11 AM. 40 and 20 were open of course as always but 15 and 10 were open too.
Should have looked at six meters...
Anyhow, it is shaping up to be a great PA QSO Party and I am glad to be back after a several year layoff!

Tim

HI Tim;
Good luck in the PA QSO Party and hope you make a lot of Q's from CHE - you may be the only one on.

Hello all...
Just took a look at the ten day forecast for Philadelphia and vicinity.
Looks more like Field Day weather!
Sunny and warm both days. High of 75 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday!
No rain..imagine that.
73 to all,
Tim
