The 2010 results are posted on the website. The entire website has been cleaned up and renewed.
Now a couple things:
I'm doing a PAQSO history, and am starting with one that Doug wrote up several years ago. If anyone has any info they might like considered for inclusion, drop me a note.
The T-shirst should be out soon.
The second thing is, I have a small disaster on my hands. A Windows update hosed my computer. I diligently downloaded and installed the latest updates. The update for Visual Studio wouldn't install. Probably no big deal. Then I noticed that Youtube videos wouldn't play - but others would. Then my mail reader would kill my internet connection. I had to restart the computer to get it back. looking on the web, I saw that some others were experiencing similar problems, the suggested cure was to uninstall the update.
After uninstalling the update, the last step the uninstaller did was to hose the boot sector of the drive. The most I could get it to do was to boot, get to the desktop for a second, then reboot. It was happy to keep rebooting as long as I wanted it to and more.
I'm working my way back from that, reformatted the drive, and reinstalling the software. I've got everything backed up, but remember that problem with my mail reader? The update might have hosed the backup, because I'm having problems restoring that now. I'm still trying, but just semi-hopful.
So here's what I need. Most of the business of the past year's party is finished, but there are a few loose ends:
There was a fellow who didn't get his '09 plaque. If you're here, send me another email.
I'm adding at least one more plaque to this year's party. There was a group who were waiting to sponsor a plaque, and that email was gone. If you're from that group, send another email.
Send the emails to my mcoslo at comcast.net address.
Oh yeah, there's a Mac in my future.
Although I have to note that after Windows update hosed my computer, it was quite secure. I'll give them that much.
