Well I made it there as promised but didn't do as well as I liked. I heard both 
the Grump and WA3AAT from Franklin but didn't get Ray or my pal Ted.

Heard K3AIR/m once but there must have been other mobiles really out there. I 
didn't work any others.  I did manage a few CW contacts on 75 but couldn't get 
anyone I could copy answering my CW attempts on 20 or 40.  I did make a bunch of 
SSB qsos and although some were very hard I rewarded most everyone with the 
Fulton Multiplier.

I operated about 4.5 hours mobile today. If you needed Fulton and missed me 
shame on you.  Sometimes I try 10 or more minutes to be heard in a string of 
stations calling some big signal stations.  Suprisingly I worked the 
Westmoreland Bonus Station on 2 Bands. 40 was tough but 75 was easy as they 
called me!

I think I worked around 36 multipliers in my one county mobile effort today.

Far as I know, I'll still head out to Juniata for the first few hours of the 
Contest tomorrow.  I understand that Mifflintown has a Burger King so perhaps I 
can catch a meal before heading home-Hi.  Hopefully more stations will hear me 
tomorrow. Depending how I feel about the Juniata operation, I may stop in an 
additional county on the way home. Maybe I can find Ted or the Grump then and 
say I worked Franklin.
