All are cordially invited to join Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club
Members this Thursday evening for a very special film presentation of
early Amateur Radio history in the Lehigh Valley. Many of those
recognized and identified in this Program have long, rich associations
with several Organizations, making this delivery uniquely enjoyable by
Members of all groups in PA. Film archives from the 1940's to now
show legendary ops in familiar activities. Join us for a very
memorable evening this Thursday at 7:30. Directions to the Nancy Run
Fire Company, Bethlehem, (Northampton Co.) are easy to obtain on the <www.DLARC.org
 > website. The kitchen will be open to satisfy everyone!

Fraternally,
Pete / NL7XM
The May 6th DLARC Meeting Program:

"The History Of the D.L.A.R.C." 63½ years ago, a group of less than 10
Hams met at the Student Union Building at Lafayette College and
decided to form the D.L.A.R.C. Bill Van Horn / W3LTO, (now, K3CP) is
the last surviving Member of that group. Mel Snyder / W3PYF has
unearthed and catalogued mountains of documents, original motion
picture, and traditional film from the earliest days of our
Organization. Mel is coming all the way from Massachusetts to deliver
this inspiring Program. Every one of our Members will benefit by
either learning of, or contributing to the truth of the humble
beginning of our legendary Radio Club, now among the oldest in the
United States. If you only attend ONE presentation this year, this
should be the one you don't miss. Be on time for a seat!
