Hi Matt et al:

I lived in Philly for quite a while and was a rare entity in PAQP.
I won first place in Philadelphia county my very first entry in PAQP.  Getting that certificate was what hooked me on contesting.
In fact, I enetered the contest from Philly a few hours before our wedding ceremony 15 years ago and managed a first place certificate, not because of a huge score but because there was minimal activity from PHI.  hihi

I can't believe only 2 hams from Philadelphia County participated and
submitted logs.  I thought Philly was a great big city and the county
surrounded the city.  Then, again, when I remember how I was looking for PHI
all weekend, I guess I can believe it.

I hope I can work Philly this year..
