Hi, Ron.  Were you the one who was told you were operating in the "AM 
window" ?  If so, I heard that exchange on the air and you were more 
polite and diplomatic than I would have been.  Kudos.

It seems like 80 meters has so-called "windows" and reserved frequencies 
all over the place for various interests and groups.  I consider the 
whole band a window for amateur radio :-)
