Hi Guys I did make my 3 scheduled counties today from the mobile in Franklin, Fulton and Bedford counties. But one pet peeve,
for the first hour or so of the contest and possibly more, a fixed station (whom I worked as my #1 from franklin) was sitting smack dab
on the suggested mobile frequency for 40 SSB not allowing us "weak mobiles" the legitimate use of the "clear frequency" reserved for us.
What is the use of having the mobile frequency if the mobile can't use it.

Later today when the contest opens in another 8 hours I hope to be in Cumberland County and will probably operate around 3.902 if the
Frequency is available and then switch to 40 where ever I can find a spot or go hunting and pecking with my weak signal.

But in the time I had available today I did work 50 stations on 40 from Franklin and 52 from Fulton and 13 from Bedford before leaving for WV
for an Appointment.

Maybe I can do better later today from Wherever after Cumberland but I'll be sure to include Adams as I didn't hear any on day 1.
