Hi Scott,

I would like to briefly comment on your proposal to
re-activate the NYQP on the same weekend as Our
PAQP.

You wouldn't consider running it the same weekend as
the ARRL Phone Sweepstakes, or the SSB DX contest
would you?  Probably not, so then, why on the 2nd weekend 
in October?  

We wouldn't want to work you under the combined test,
and have you try to give us the name of some county,
instead of ENY or WNY, and likewise you wouldn't want
to work one of us in some PA County, which you don't
give a hoot about, and us not give you EPA or WPA.

In all fairness, I would love to see you succeed in
re-activating yours, as I am sure there are many PA folks
who would like to participate in it, BUT, not the same 
weekend.
