106 & 80 CW: 256

Other CW: 266

SSB: 513

Mults: 130

Raw score: 185120

Bonus: 7 QSO's

Claimed score: 186520

Station: YAESU FT1000 MK V and wire dipoles cut to 20M, 40M and 80M. All are resonant near .040Mhz of each band. Use the internal tuner on the MK V for SSB portion of each band.
Logging: NA10.49.....solid as Lehman Bros....oops...Solomon Bros....ooops...AIG....oops....well, you know.

Missed BED, CLE, CLI, MTR and NUM, along with to many CA and VE sections to mention.

Some Highs:
* Working KA3JIB in CMB (Patton) about 8 miles away from my state park QTH. I only work CBM about 1 out of 3 years.
* Working N3LL/4, Bob. Missed N3LL last year and I guess I know why now. Bob is now in WCF.
* My annual brief chat with Doug, W3HDH.

Other tidbits:
* I doubt I worked 3 /M's in PA; W3USA was one on Sunday late morning/early afternoon, my only W3USA Q.
* My foot switch was intermittent most of Saturday afternoon and totally quit by Saturday evening. I hate VOX. And, did I mention, I HATE VOX.
*Seeing the look on my 8 year old grandson's face when he reeled in that 13" perch was worth the entire effort of the trip.
*I'll probably never know for sure, but feel the shorted out 80M dipole worked just as well on 160 as the 160 dipole I used to put up. 91 Q's is right around my norm for that band. (54 CW, 37 SSB).
* Had total of 5 QSO's with CA stations.
* "Please accept my QSO number........" should be banned by rule as a preface to the exchange. I mean....c'mon. I called CQ. Of course I'm going to accept it. Or I answered your CQ. Again, you don't have to beg me to take your information. Of course, I'm saying this with tongue in cheek.....I think.
* The first time I worked WA3HAE, I think I was about 50-75 Q's ahead of him. I worked him 3 or 4 more times and each time he was a little closer. Last time I was only 20 or so ahead. I'm anxious to see how our totals compare.

Thanks for all the Q's guys; and thank you mother nature for another great week in one of Pa's most beautiful state parks. Great color in the trees; good fishing; peaceful nights cooking hot dogs and roasting marshmallows over the open camp fire.

And finally, congrats to AA3B for his annual expert showing.

73 and see you in SS CW I hope
