[PaQSO] KB8TYJ PAQP results from Michigan

Hi, all.

Despite absolutely horendous conditions on 40 meters Saturday, this year's 
Pennsylvania QSO Party was the best ever for me out here in Michigan.

I'll attach my summary sheet below.

I certainly didn't break any records, in relation to what many of you did, 
but I broke my own personal record for the overall number of contest qsos. 
I ended up with 250 qsos total, on 40 and 80 meter CW and SSB.

I also came closer than I ever had in terms of working the various PA 
counties.  I worked 63 out of the 67 counties.  I failed to get Montour, 
Northumberland, Juniata, and Clearfield counties.

You folks should be commended for putting together one heck of a contest.

As I said in earlier e-mails, I grew up in Pennsylvania, and it is really 
fun every year to talk back to the old neck of the woods.

Finally, I applaud you for creating the Beacon award.  As you also may 
recall from some of my previous posts, I'm a blind ham, and appreciate the 
fact that you have developed an award to recognize what we can do in a 
contest like this.  I know another blind op in Pennsylvania who made many 
more contacts than I was able to do, but the mere existence of the award is 
gratifying.
