SEEMS TO ME THAT CQ P vs CQ PAQSO IS ONLY 3 LETTERS, NOW THINKING THAT MOST
WILL BE USING A COMPUTER GENERATED PROGRAM OF SOME SORT TO SEND THEIR CQ, ID AND
OTHER INFO IT REALLY DOESN'T MAKE MUCH SENSE TO ADD CONFUSION TOO.

If you are working the PA QSO Party, I guess it makes sense but probably confuses the heck out of those not in the party.

KF3DJ (Ron) and I will have W3CG on the air from Erie County, 160 – 20, CW and SSB.

One question: last weekend, I was warming up on the Californians and couldn’t help but notice how many of the CW stations were calling “CQ P de W6xxx”. Now, this “CQ P” makes a lot of sense to me. It saves a bunch of letters. Does it make sense to everyone, or is it confusing?”

Peter, AA2AD
