[PaQSO] Ohio QSO Party - This Saturday

As everyone is gearing up on the reflector for  the upcoming PAQP, first 
let's take a break and actually get on the radio and  check things out in 
preparation for October.  This Saturday, from noon to  midnight (EDT), is the Ohio QSO 
Party. 80 - 10 meters, exchange is qso number  and QTH (just like PA), 
multipliers count once per mode for each county.   Full info is at:

Among the planned Ohio operations are a number of PAQPers - W1NN,  W3AG, and 
K8MR who will be out mobile; AD8J who will be one  of the crew at K8T in 
Jefferson county;  ND8L/K8YM who has been on  from Armstrong in recent years.  Plus 
a whole lot of people who operate the  PAQP from Ohio.  Let them know you 
appreciate them!
 
The weather forecasts are for warm but dry weather, so if you have some  time 
feel free to drive over and join us from Ohio.  In particular,  Ashtabula 
county in far northeast Ohio needs some activity.  W3BBO had  planned to come 
over from Erie, but has had to change his plans. So here's a  great chance to be 
a rare one.
 
Hope to work lots of PA guys on Saturday.  And I'll be back in PA in  
October, mobiling around somewhere, exact details yet to  be determined.
