Ah, that statement :-) Yea, it was more that I'm tired of hearing about it each year. The casual operator in me says eliminate the multiplier in the interest of Party harmony, but the contester side of me would like to keep it in order to compete in some fashion with QRO and medium power stations. Of course when the results come in the mail I look at Carbon County (just to make sure I beat N3CR :-) and the QRP listings and two minutes later I'm doing something else. I picture some folks with trophy cases filled with sweep and first place plaques. :-)

 >Could not agree more. "Ain't broke/don't fix it?" I'm my best Spanish
I say "El Toro Poopoo". Change is, generally, a good thing. And I don't
see anyone here advocating "wholesale" change.

I'm glad you feel that way. I don't consider anything that has been
suggested in the past couple years as a wholesale change, with a
possible exception being QTCs which someone mentioned one year. Even
the addition of digital didn't amount to much change.

 >A toast: "To lively discussion and opinion swapping".

I'll drink to that! :-)
