[PaQSO] WinEQF Question -- County Line Station

I had used KA3JWE's logging program in the past which worked well for
me. I don't have an issue with JWE not supporting it anymore, but it
looks like he only supported COM port CW keying and I prefer LPT port CW
Keying. Also, I'm going to be using a laptop that has one serial and
one parallel port and I would like to use the COM port for rig control
(so I don't have to forget to change band/mode in the log). So, I
downloaded WinEQF to give it a try. I have used it for other contests
in the past, such as ARRL November Sweepstakes, so I'm familiar with
it. I just tested it out and it seems to operate the CW okay when I set
the priority to "HIGH" and the rig control seems to be working great, so
the computer, even though it is an old 120 MHz machine with W98SE and
only 40 MB of RAM seems like it should be okay.

Okay, so I figure I can easily take care of the scoring for bonus
stations after the contest as well as a multiplier for QRP in case it
doesn't do that automatically, but how do I log County Line stations
with WinEQF? I never really understood the concept of logging them
anyway, do they count as separate QSOs or only one QSO but with two or
more multipliers? The rules, as well written as they are this year,
didn't really seem to specify how they are logged.

Maybe I should use a different logging program, but the main reason I
thought I would try WinEQF is because I've used it previously and it
supports LPT CW and COMport rig control as JWE's program does not. I
did like how JWE's program handled EVERYTHING else with scoring, though.

73 and see you from MIF! Thanks in advance for the replies.

Mark, NK8Q
