Hey All,

First off, I have to apologize for the Special Event station callsign  
confusion. I had really wanted the club call for the SES, but when it  
was switched, I guess I made some freudian slips. Amazing how many  
places I managed to put that in on the web pages.

But yes, it is W3P, not W3YA.


The five special event stations will be located in these counties:

Erie
Somerset
Lancaster
Schuylkill
Mobile

The last Special event station will be a mobile station, operated by  
yours truly. I'll be operating in various counties around the state,  
with the exception of those where the fixed stations are. I worked  
some of the CA QSO party as a tune up, and just tooled around on 40  
meters. My setup is working well, and I received good signal reports  
on 40 meters and on random contacts on 20. I will also have 80 meters.

I really want to thank the volunteers for the Special event station,  
especially since we had to get a new one at relative last minute timing.
