My sentiments exactly.  One Multi-Multi station at one location,
like a Field Day operation without the restrictions of antennas
on a strictly temporary basis, makes sense. 
I have operated, as you well know, for quite a few years,
portable from various locations, AND WITHOUT THE BENEFIT
OR 'BONUS' POINT additions to the scoring, and we all had
a great time.
