BlankThe only DUMB idea is like the dumb question. One that isn't forwarded 
for further examination or asked.

I thought the Party was supposed to FUN for ALL participants. I have asked 
many others from Fayette why they don't enter and represent their County and 
95% of the replies have been that it has become impossible to compete with 
their "Peanut whistle" stations so why bother. Many were not aware of the 
changes that were made over the years to encourage participation and 
possibly induce the smaller stations to enter and just enjoy a weekend of 
comraderie of Amatuer Radio.

It wasn't too long ago that many expressed dissatisfaction over the thought 
of having multiple stations signing with the Special Event callsign. I 
noticed that those who complained the most didn't refuse to count the extra 
points.

As I was typing this, I got the second mailing from Mike. Well said Mike. So 
well in fact that I have decided to say no more here.
