I'm mostly a CW kinda guy, but in my opinion it's always the "operator's
choice" of what mode to use, what speed, style, etc. That's why we call
him "THE OPERATOR".
Thus--there's no need to gripe or be sorry for the way things turn out
at the end of what's supposed to be a fun activity. While I've stared
that I'm not high on the "bonus station" concept, I think the N3SH ops
did an OK job, especially since several were obviously beginning as
contest ops. Next year they will be better ops, and will hopefully be
back from their home stations on SSB, RTTY, CW, or smoke signals. (that's
what you get when the rig has a "catastropic failure")
