[PaQSO] Revive Club Award?

Mike  (and other interested Club Trophy enthusiasts),

I would also like to know about the whereabouts of the old
'Club Champions' Award/plaque.

I am a member of the DLARC and was unofficially appointed
the Club-PAQSO Chairman, as I was instrumental in badgering
the membership to get in there and win that trophy.

The Trophy was started in 1983 and for the first 6 years was won
3 times each by Radio Assoc of Erie,  and Murgas ARC,  after
which the DLARC won it 8 times out of the following 10 years.

(I have a picture of the trophy taken in 1991).

The last year we won it was 1998, at which time there was only
room on the brass plate for 5 more inscriptions, subsequently,
I would guess, the trophy was retired.

Under these circumstances the DLARC would have been the
winningest club for the useable life of it, and I therefore feel that
the rightful place for it should be at the DLARC clubhouse.

As for re-instituting this award, I am in favor of same.
