The rules aren't published per se. We have to get together to
brainstorm exactly how the wording is going to be. But the basic
changes have been made, and the details will be written in soon. The
people who will be affected by the changes know what is happening.
Note, basic changes are the point and multiplier system, and the
details are things like the log format and summary sheet needs. All
important, but some have more immediacy.
The software folks were informed shortly after the contest last
year. One was having a bit of an issue with the new multiplier
system. I'll be looking for an update from all of them soon. If the
new multiplier system is going to be a problem for everyone, (meaning
the software writers) I may modify it.
