Mike,
Don't sweat it. "To err is human," and lord knows, we all are! <g>
Now, might I suggest that when clarifying the rules, suggested listening
times for some of the V/UHF bands be mentioned (as is done for 160, for
example)? That might help bring some of the V/UHF ops out of the woodwork
(since they'd have some idea of when to be listening).
Get enough ops operating... and get some more V/UHF logs turned in... and
who knows, one of these days very soon, we might have enough activity to
justify a plaque for the V/UHF guys!
Something else to consider, too... for many years in the past, the PackRats
(Mt. Airy VHF Society) had their Mid Atlantic States VHF Conference &
Hamarama Hamfest the same weekend as the Party. But not this year (nor last
year as I remember); it took place earlier. A lot of these guys who haven't
had time for the Party in the past might just be interested... if incentives
come their way...
