     Choosing to run a county line station is one of those things  
that makes the party fun.

     We try to keep it relaxed, yet  reasonably accurate. This means  
that in the case in question, the OP was not at the county line,  
because he noted that he could see it from where he was. If needed  
for safety reasons, a station can be set up beside the line instead  
of on it.

     It really isn't too difficult to figure out. The Ops make a good  
faith effort to be at the county line, and we generally accept that.  
It would be hard to fault people if the county line is inaccurate in  
any given place.


        But if you *do* know where the line is, it is important. At  
our Mountaintop station, we are within 50 feet of the line, yet don't  
do county line because we know *exactly* where that line is, and  
we're not at it.


     And when in doubt, ask me. Voice of reason or not, I am the one  
to judge.
