[PaQSO] pre-PQP Net

Hello everyone,
Since it seems like things have calmed down since the whole RTTY scandal. I figured it would be time to bring up another subject that I would like to get some input on. From listening to the net before the contest for a few years now, I noticed that it seems we get an awful lot of QRM.  I would think it would be beneficial to the party if we could have an enjoyable net without interruption. A good way of doing this would be to move part of the net to echolink.

Having a net on echolink would give the net controller a lot more control over the flow of the net allowing hopefully everyone a chance to be heard. I know all of you are thinking well on Friday night I am at my site, which does not have internet access. However, there are many repeaters or just simplex links throughout PA that are connect to echolink. Besides that, I am sure there is a few willing people that would put up an HF link for the net for those that still like to check in via the original HF form. Which this has been used before for other nets on echolink on a wider scale.  

Hopefully, things will be a little more calmer on this subject then the RTTY because in my opinion the net would hardly change at all.
