[PaQSO] RTTY in PQP 2005?

Define RTTY.

If you are limiting it, for contest purposes or discussion purposes, to
Baudot mode only, I say "no."
But... if you intend to include AMTOR, PACTOR, PSK31 and other modes, then I
say "yes" conditional on how you write the rules.

I would limit it, for now, to accepted digital modes -- Baudot, ASCII,
AMTOR, PACTOR, and PSK31 are in wide enough use and/or easy enough to
implement that someone who truly wants to get on in those modes can. But
some of the more obscure (for now) modes -- MFSK16, Hellschriber (sp?), and
so forth... I don't think they're mainstream enough for now to include in a
contest. Further, I would limit you to ONE digital contact per call per
band -- ie, if you work N3SH on PSK31 on 20, you can't work N3SH on Baudot
on 20 during the same contest.

IMHO. YMMV. VWPBL.
