The best part about the 220 debacle is that once they took that away from us, with much Bally-Hoo then they didn't even want it. Today, it isn't used. Like the Framers of the Constitution, whoever did the first slice and dice on the spectrum, they nailed it cold. The original reason the hams had such problems getting 220 participation was that Moto and GE didn't make any equip. for there. Nobody at FCC either knew about this or paid attention to it. Stand by to be impressed!
