I have posted my mantra at the end of the facts instead of making you sleepy
as you read it. An excerpt from Mike's email showing PSK frequencies is
listed below.
1838.15
3580.15
7035.15 and 7080.15
14070.15
21080.15 and 21070.15
28120.15
1.) I have looked over the three major domestic RTTY contest rules
(ARRL RTTY RU, CQ WW WPX RTTY, CQ WW DX RTTY). None of them condones 160m
operation. So throw out 160m.
2.) Throw out the PSK DX window on 7035, which will be unusable in PA
anyway.
3.) I consider the 15m listing close enough to be the same.
Here is what remains:
3580.15
7080.15
14070.15
21070.15
28120.15
If a gentlemen's agreement is established that no CW is condoned above these
frequencies and no RTTY is condoned below these frequencies; please explain
how there can be interference?
Thank you,

Mantra
Amazing how this topic has brought the "kid" out of so many on this list. I
picture it as a sandbox-like setting, with dozens of kids fighting to have
their way. Yes indeed, the sandbox has been good over the years; but it was
never perfect.
Many of the "CW kids" have long held the feeling that all CW contacts should
be two points. I had the honor of sitting next to some fantastic CW Ops in
my time. They can track to calls at a time and even complete a QSO while
talking to me at an adjacent radio. To these Ops, it is nothing special.
But, wouldn't it be nice to jack up that final score by getting more points
per QSO?
I guess the "CW kids" have felt neglected over the years and now the
"Digital Kids" have pushed them over the edge. My oh my, what a wonderful
world. The sad thing is not many are not crying "MOM"? It seems more are
crying "I HATE YOU MOM"!
Bottom line. I respect many of you for your contributions to PQP over the
years. But for the love of the sandbox, either get over yourselves, roll
with the changes, or go see a Therapist! Don't hate your mother!
