   I'm still looking for the part in the first message that I should have 
recognized as "fun"ny.  So sorry.  In my original post, I ended with:
"Just food for generating healthy discussion, boys; not a proposal..."

   And I didn't insult the CW ops who said the world might end if RTTY was 
allowed, but I guess we know what you think of the unskilled PSK bottom-feeders:

There is very little skill involved in running RTTY, except the need to 
know how to use a keyboard.



     I was introducing alternatives for a cure without an established problem 
yet.  In fact, if your glasses didn't fog up after the first paragraph, you'd 
have read that I even went on to suggest that digital might be allowed only 
on bands that CW ops find useless in the contest in order to further protect 
them.
    For the RECORD, I am a HUGE proponent of CW preservation.
