Hello PaQP group,

While we're airing our desires, I must say that I've been a firm
believer in the separation of portable QRP entries from the non-QRP
portable entries. For instance, I run low power portable out of Warren
County every year, and even with my best ever scores, I cannot compete
with the average to above average QRP station who runs QRP portable
simply due to the "times 2" QRP multiplier they receive.

I've pretty much learned to deal with it, however, as that pesky WA3SES,
who also goes low power portable, has been kicking my butt the past few
(4 or 5 or 6...) years.

And no, no, no, I'm not suggesting a solution that simply levels the
playing field. We have enough "equalizers", and I know better than to
go down that road.

And no, I'm not whining that I haven't won over the past several years.
If I were participating just to win, I would have probably stopped
spending the time and money to go portable and started operating from
home in Allegheny County.

Already looking forward to next year's event.

Take care,

Bob, N3FR
