I should know better than to make suggestions on this reflector. They
inevitably get misconstrued and the next thing you know, tempers flare.
This reflector is meant for people to share ideas and opinions, and that is
what's taking place. There's no need to get upset and start threatening a
W3UU pull-out.
We are all looking forward to working W3UU, so get as many on the air as you
can and have a blast!! I'm sure you will all be pleased with the results.

Subject: [PaQSO] W3UU Bonus Points Station
The job of operating the W3UU stations will be under the discretion of the
individual operators that are assigned by the HRAC club to each station.
HRAC
has a membership, and it is the membership, not the emailers that have all
the
say about who, why, what and when, how and where W3UU operates. I have had
several emails in a row about individuals complaining on the discussion
group and
privately about what W3UU plans to do as a Bonus Points station. Our club
operators are having to read threads of distortion about "incredible
confusion"
regarding our upcoming operation. The plans for our memberships
participation
have taken place over the last 18 months, W3UU is prepared to do a great
job.
However, if you do not want the Bonus Points station to take place, then
continue bickering about it in the discussion group, and HRAC will cancel
all the
bonus stations. Do you want the 200 point bonus contacts or not. The choice
is up to you!
We want to hear you during the contest, not before.
Sincerely,
Pete deVolpi, K3PD
President HRAC - W3UU
