Another clean sweep, but this time it was a nail-biter. Last year I had it
in the bag well before noon on Sunday, but this year the last county (CRN)
went in the log with less 2 hours to go.

Despite the confusion about what the W3UU deal was going to be, here's the
truth from my station: without the W3UU ops going to a lot of different
counties, I would not have come close to a sweep this year.

In the future, I hope creative approaches to the bonus station can be
announced clearly and authoritatively from the get-go, so we can skip the
confusion, controversy, and distress. Just tell us reasonably well in
advance what's going to happen and instruct us how to log it and score it,
and we should all be happy puppies.

I only had one run-in with a jerk. I said I would QSY as soon as I finished
a contact with a weak mobile station, but he had to keep mouthing off.
Finally I pointed out that the sooner he shut up, the sooner I could
complete the contact and get out of his hair. I identified my station, he
didn't. Funny how some human bodies have a big mouth but no spine, eh?
