Hi All,
Had a good time this year working from both sides of both lines, county &
state.
I started in PA, on south side of Law/Mer co line, from the driveway of a
barn that sits a few feet from the co line. The guy working there let me
run about 1.5 hrs, then told me I had to leave because he was done there.
So I moved my station to the driveway across the street, and on the north
side of the co line. Total distance about 200 feet. Thought I'd mention
that so no one said I had to sign other than the /3 I was using :-). I
worked from there about 1.5 hrs also. Paper logged 60 calls from PA.
61st call was Mother Nature so returned to OH.
I spent the rest of the day Saturday at home, barely making as many QSO's as
I did in my 3 hrs in PA, with better antennas and pc logging at home I might
add for perspective. Sure glad things thinned out Sunday so in staters
could hear us out of staters.
