Well, we made it home to Ohio in record time. This was a great weekend, and
we found the perfect camping location. Now, if it was just in a different
county.
As reported earlier, we had planned to make it to ARM this year, but the
campground got sold. This forced us to find an alternate, with BUT being the
best we could do. But, plans are already being made for next year. More on
that later, if the plans come together.
Here's our preliminaries:
Total QSO's: 530
Counties: 65 (Missed BRA & CRA)
Sections: 46
DX:1
W3UU 11 times :5500 points
preliminary score: 67436
Several people told us that our 80 & 40 meter signal was the loudest on the
band. This was great, since the amp died about 5 minutes before the contest.
We also ran into a jerk, but considering where we were at frequency wise, I
wasn't surprised.
Thanks again to the organizers. This was a great contest weekend.
John, KD8MQ
